“CD-DJ” was a custom built turntable instrument made from two old CDs, two potentiometers, a Basic Stamp II, two LEDs, 8 sound samples, and awooden case. When you turned the CDs you controled the speed, direction, volume, and track selection of several sound files. Above is a screenshot of the software interface.

“CD-DJ” was built as a basic prototype to a music controller that resembled a standard LP scratching station. The interface was later used to control several animations by directing avatars in specific directions by spinning the disks.
